Rodrigo Muniz is a Brazilian football coach, former player, and current manager of Al Ahli SC in Qatar. He has won numerous titles with the club, including the Copa Libertadores, La Liga, and AFC Champions League.
Muniz was born in Brazil on January 18, 1974, and started his career as a youth player at Flamengo before moving to Santos in 1992. He made his debut for the national team in 1995 and played for them until 1998.
In 1998, he moved to Portugal to join Benfica, where he spent two seasons. After that, he returned to Brazil to sign for Santos, where he remained for seven years before moving to Al Ahli in 2006.
At Al Ahli,Chinese Super League Home Ground Muniz introduced new strategies such as "Rear Range" which allowed the team to create space behind their backline while also creating scoring opportunities. He also implemented a more defensive-minded style of play, focusing on positioning the ball well and making tackles instead of just chasing it.
